The new fall season continues this week and it was a big one for Heroes. The show premiered with two episodes back to back. This followed the premiere party held in LA that many of Heroes' cast members attended to promote the new season. Plenty of action and story was packed into each episode. There's an actual direction this time around which, for those that couldn't get the Haitian to erase their memories, is a huge improvement from the shortened second season. This time, characters will actually have more to fight.
A few moans and groans aside I watched the whole thing.

It was OK, I was hoping for more. It seems like it borrowed even more from 4400 with the intro of a serum to give you powers. Didn't really care for that plot element on that show so I can't say I'm excited about seeing it on Heroes.
But, hey, another paints the future dude.
Not sure I like what's going on with the Nikki "clone". The Parkman thread is a little weird, which is a pity cause I really like the character. Tonight's episode just made the Petrelli brothers the equivalent of the Summers brothers. What did Sylar mean when he told Mrs. Petrelli she was wrong about him? And how did Hiro and Ando end up in Level 5? I missed those parts.

What?
Heroes ripped off a comic book for a major plot point?
I can't believe it.

AICN:
- Jeph Loeb and Jesse Alexander, who appeared to be Tim Kring's chief lieutenants in the "Heroes" writer's room, have left the show.
Both scribe-producers had been with the show since its first season and were known to have led the day-to-day production operation under the direction of creator/exec producer Tim Kring.
Loeb has known Kring since the pair worked together on the screenplay for 1987's "Teen Wolf Too." A comic book writer ("Hulk: Grey," "Spider-Man: Blue," "Daredevil: Yellow") since 1991, Loeb wrote his first teleplay for "Smallville" in 2002 and spent half a season at "Lost" before Kring brought him aboard "Heroes."
Alexander wrote on all five seasons of "Alias" and worked as executive consultant and co-executive producer on the first season of "Lost" before joining "Heroes."
From
Variety:
- "Heroes," produced by Universal Media Studios, has struggled in the ratings its third season. It's understood that Alexander and Loeb were let go because of Peacock execs' frustration with the creative direction of the show. The show is also said to have been grappling with hefty budget overruns this season, that are going well beyond its already sizable $4 million per-seg pricetag.
Wow. Jeph Loeb made something suck. Who woulda thunk it?
I didn't realize he worked for "Lost" for a while. Probably during the season no one liked.
Too bad this frees him up to ruin more comic books for DC and Marvel.
He worked on all the story lines that never got resolved. Seriously.
On Lost? Figures. Let me guess. He was the one who thought it was good idea to add Paolo and Nikki to the cast.
Loeb was brought in on season two of Lost.
Season two was pretty crappy, from almost every aspect.
I have to admit it picked back up after that.
I guess because Loeb was onto Heroes.
I have been kinda watching Heroes this season. It is better than it was, there is just still too much horse shit though.
I heard he was the new writer for Dr Who.
I don't think its possible to make that show any crappier.
Right pro?
I heard he was the new writer for Dr Who.
You've just destroyed the only thing I've ever loved.
All right, there it is.
What do
you love?
I love scotch. Scotchy, scotch, scotch. Here it goes down, down into my belly...
My God, what is that smell? Oh.
That's the smell of desire my lady.
God no, it smells like, like a used diaper... filled with... Indian food. Oh, excuse me.
You know, desire smells like that to some people
What is that? Smells like a turd covered in burnt hair.
Smells like Bigfoot's dick!
