The first issue was pretty good. Some people were bothered by Robinson's patchy dialogue, but I have no problems with it. That's just his writing style. Great book, though I still think the title is kinda odd.
I hope my midwestern sea gopher is not about to execute itselfes pumper
Robinson seems to be pushing all the right buttons with this one:
People are going apeshit. Hehe.
I don't think it's worth going apeshit over, but it was a odd point in the story to have that conversation. After storming out on a JLA meeting and upset over lost comrades, Ollie thinks that Hal needs to confess a three-way?
Seems weird given the context in which is occurred, as if Robinson had been dying to use the gag and just couldn't wait for a more appropriate point at which to use it.
This is well after that scene in the Watchtower. The issue starts with both of them standing in the rooftop talking, Hal says he needs to confess something, and Ollie makes the joke. The could've perfectly been watching There's Something About Mary before.
You could be right but it seemed to me that was supposed to be right after the Watchtower incident.
no, if Meltzer had scripted it, they'd spend the whole book crying over how much the League means to them.
Ok, I take it back, this was crap. Last issue: Star City collapses, Roy Harper's preteen daughter killed, Ollie kills Prometheus. FUN!
How much did Geoff Johns play in this, I wonder?
Killing someone isn't new for Green Arrow. Unless DC has decided to erase longbow Hunters from continuity. That would be a shame.
Yeah, and not just TLBH. He killed someone back in the 1970s during the GL/GA series and tried to kill Hal when during the Spacebug era.
I didn't know he killed anyone pre TLBH. Was it in Hard Traveling Heroes?
He did shoot Hal/Parallax during Zero Hour. That was in the heat of battle at the dawn of time and while he was trying to kill Hal,he obviously did not,'cause Hal/Parallax was back a few months later In The Final Night. Maybe I'm remembering that wrong.
Havent read comics in years, but I do remember that when Hal resurrected Ollie, he resurrected him with no memory of TLBH and everything that happened after that.
Did that ever get rectified?
TLBH The movie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpM7UCB2snkI don't know if they made a part two.

Yeah, the end of that story arc from Kevin Smith had Ollie with all his memory restored.
Ollie killing Pro was cool.
what does TLBH stand for TinydickLotharfuckingBlackHos ?
Sorry, man. Ollie Queen wants you dead.
Can you set me up with your wife before you go?
