This is the cover to Green Lantern Annual #1 with the tagline "Everything changes here.EVERYTHING!" It's the last part of the "Revenge of Black Hand" story and is due out at the end of August.
The cover reminded me of the death of Superman issue with the red dripping "S",so wonder what this might mean for Green Lantern?
looks like green lantern jizz. maybe he becomes a porn star?
"Everything changes" means nothing in comics now. If they want Hal dead they should have left him that way...
It'll be Kyle, at the most. Most likely someone lower down like Stewart, Gardner, or one of the aliens.
Well, the DCU ended for me with INFINITE CRISIS. So, I really don't care...
No one cares about John Landis's kid.
And yet, he's dead-fucking-on with that video. You laughed. Don't pretend otherwise...
It WOULD be kinda awesome if they killed off Hal again, though, because he sucks.
Maybe this is when the retcon wave finally hits the Green Lantern books. It was being held back by Mekanique or something.

That was the day Pro became a grumpy old man.
No, that day was long before Infinite Crisis.
Not sure if any death is involved. They tout "The final fate of John Stewart." but that could mean anything...also the consequences for Guy Gardner for his disobeying the Guardians....who are completely bat-shit crazy at this point....could also mean just about anything. The only thing here that bugs(no pun intended)me is how Abin Sur knew all this stuff....started the Indigo Lanterns and noone else in the Corps knew anything about it or that he shared his info with...say....Sinestro who was supposedly Abin's closest friend. I always kinda dug Abin Sur as a character and yeah, with his very limited backstory, you can make the case that he could have been doing all this shit,we just never heard about it,but it seems pretty far-reaching. I would have bought the story that a few GL's taken into Abin's confidence and enacting a plan a lot easier than it being just Abin alone.
allan1 for comic book mod...
I'm little familiar with what is going on in GL so I'm going to guess that it has something to do with why the Guardians have been such little bitches as of late and the rise of the Third Army. Recent issues have been about how Abin created the Indigo Tribe to counter what the Guardians would do after the Blackest Night. This will probably tie-in with what has also been going on in Red Lanterns, GLC, and Rainbow Warriors or whatever Kyle's book is called. And, I'm calling Kyle to die.

I thought it was stated in Blackest Night that Abin had warned the Guardians about the Blackest Night and Sinestro about it and a lot of this shit but nobody believed him.
Nobody's gonna take you seriously if your name is Abin.
I'm pretty sure abin means "lesbian monkey penis" in Oan.

I think it's been around since Johns started on GL. During the Secret Origin arc right before Blackest Night a lot of Abin Sur's suspicions were shown.
Oh My Gob! G'Nort!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was good. I liked the focus on Sinestro.
I still think Green Lantern is a book book when they're not focusing on the rainbow corps so I liked those first issues, but unfortunately they're back to that crap again.
