Posted By: The Time Trust Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-01-05 6:51 AM
You don't want to see that. Trust me. You really don't.
Posted By: Eurostar Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-01-05 10:41 AM
I was wondering... are there twelve women related to Vanguard?
Posted By: SpandexMonkeyMan Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-01-05 2:54 PM
Well, I count:

Penny Goodweather
Lykopis

Nurse Ruby

By the way...if you want a female character you created in the calendar, do me a HUGE favor and send me a PM. I hope it's not asking too much, but it would make things easy since I can check one easy source for all the imformation.

First, I need a basic physical description of the character. If you based a description on a famous person, mention that.

Second, add anything you want mentioned. Be humorous ('position' or 'looks for this in a man' or 'fetish').

Third, mention what month you think would be appropriate for the character. For example, it's just appropriate for Brianna to be in March. However, for a character like Leslie, the month may not matter. No big deal.
Posted By: Captain Sammitch Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-01-06 9:22 PM
Would you be able to use all the Poser stuff I did of Leslie as adequate source material or should I render some more?
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-01-06 9:50 PM
The pics are a great reference, just PM text-related goodies.
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-07 7:16 PM
Paging Nurkio's and Miss X's managers...please PM me...

I PMed you what I thought about Nuriko...

February -- Miss Victoria Xiang (right) and Nuriko (left)

Flower: Primrose
Stone: Amethyst

Team: Vanguard based on La Perdita
Positin: Use your imagination. Oh, you meant their jobs? Miss X is on top...wait, this is just not working.
Skills: Nuriko is one seriously deadly fighter. And Miss X is seriously dead.
Naughty Bits? Ask Montag.

Events in February:

2 - Groundhog Day
14 - Valentine's Day (why do you think we picked this pair?)
21 - Pro's Birthday

Black History Month
Posted By: Chewy Walrus Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-23 8:02 AM
Pro! Your birthday was yesterday and you never told me?! You dirty bastard! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

And nice pic, Ceej! Love the card...
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-24 9:12 PM
Thank you!

I'm actually working on a painting at the moment, and I found a new way to draw heads. I can't wait to try this trick for the March picture.
Posted By: SpandexMonkeyMan Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-24 9:14 PM
Nice pic. I can't actually tell which is which, but that's just cos I never read any descriptions...
Posted By: Captain Sammitch Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-24 9:16 PM
Who's up for the next coupla months, Ceej?
Posted By: Chewy Walrus Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-24 11:18 PM
Shh! It's a secret, Philsy!
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 1:41 AM
March is Miss Brianna. Who would be a good pick for April? 'April showers bring May flowers...'
Posted By: Captain Sammitch Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 3:20 AM
We wanna spread out the big names, I'm assuming.
Posted By: Chewy Walrus Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 3:51 AM
How many big names are there? Like, four?
Posted By: Captain Sammitch Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 6:57 AM
Thereabouts.
Posted By: Grimm Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 8:15 AM
No, we wanna post characters that are appropriate to the month or as closest to it as possible.
Posted By: Captain Sammitch Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 8:19 AM
Yeah. I getcha.

I was hoping, Ceej, that you could put Leslie in October. It's the real Leslie's birth month, and with Oktoberfest and all, it's a good way to celebrate saucy German babes everywhere.
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-25 11:00 AM
Okay guys, I know March doesn't start till Tuesday, but I'm leaving for Spring Break tomorrow morning. Plus on Monday I'm getting all four wisdom teeth taken out, and I know they're going to give me extra happy juice for this surgery (it's sad when the dentist laughes at your x-ray). I've been in pain since Saturday. I will be seeing pink elephants and riding albino camels. So I figured I'd just post this early.

Another thing about April. It's notorious for being the month of warfare. The American Revolution began in April, the Civil War (or War of Northern Agression ) began and ended in April, WWII ended in April (at least to the Germans). Other than that, besides being the ending of winter and the beginning of spring, I don't know what else is very special about it.

March -- Miss Brianna Fionghuala

Flower: Violet
Stone: Aquamarine

Team: Vanguard at La Perdita
Position: The team lightweight. Although she does eat like a horse.
Skills: She has wings. That's kind of kinky, I suppose. Her sonic cry makes her more of a long-range threat.
Naughty Bits: As Grissom Montag will profess, Brianna is most assuredly a screamer. Assuredly. Also know for wearing very short shorts.

Events in March:

10 - Harriet Tubman Day
17 - St. Patrick's Day
18 - Austrailian International Air Show (because the idea of Eric Bana in a fighter jet boggles the mind...)
24- Grimm's b'day
27 - Easter
Posted By: Prometheus Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-02-26 9:10 PM
Thanks Chewy!

CJ, great job with all the pics. Brianna's is damn nice. I hope your Sring Break kicks ass.

APRIL -- Miss Shirley

Flower: Daisy
Stone: Diamond

Team: None at the moment, formerly Vanguard International.

Position: Secretary.

Skills: Not a particularly fast typer, Shirley got her job only because of her relationship with Mick Harrison. However, when pushed, Shirley can display unexplainable episodes of momentary strenght (as showed in the "SHIRLEY KICK ASS!" one shot special by thedoctor).

Naughty Bits? A little known fact about Shirley is that she wasn't always a lady: the one remnant of her "former life" remains her most erotic body part... though Mick doesn't feel the same way.

(Note -- April Fool's! Sorry I didn't make that clear in the initial post -- mostly because Mxy hadn't told me that it was a prank. I thought Shirley had been given Eva's Nip/Tuck treatment...)

Not bad, CJ. I picture her with curly hairs, but maybe that are too out of fashion these days...
Posted By: Danny Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-16 10:30 AM
Ah, but are the curly hairs on her head?
Posted By: Eurostar Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-16 11:36 AM
I always wonder how you English people could live without having two different words for the head-hairs and the body-hairs.
Posted By: The Time Trust Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-16 12:44 PM
True... but we have plenty of words for pubic hair.

'Cause there on two very different parts of the body.

I mean, what happens in Italy if a hot girl asks a guy 'Do you want to trim my hair?' What if she just needs shorter hair to compete in swimming?
Posted By: Eurostar Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-16 11:43 PM
If a girl in Italy ask a guy "Do you want to trim my capelli?" (head-hairs), the guy would be very perplexed, unless he is a hairdresser.

Else, if the girl aks "Do you want to trim my peli?" (body-hairs) the guy could wonder if the girl is talking about superflous hairs from her superior lip, or pube or legs or other mysterious parts of her body, but he would know for sure that she is performing some sort of primeval act of seduction upon him.
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-16 11:55 PM
I don't know if 'Do you want to trim my upper lip?' has quite the same ring...;)
Posted By: Cowgirl Jack Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-17 12:00 AM
And I do feel bad about the hair. I just reread the PM, and you did say curly hair. For some reason, I was basing the hairstyle on an old friend, and I forgot to double-check the PM. Oops.
Posted By: Eurostar Re: Girls of Vanguard Calendar - 2005-05-17 12:12 AM
Don't feel bad, as the rendition is quite good. My wife has curly hairs for a month and sleek ones for the next... I guess the same can be applied to Rose.

JUNE -- Leslie Kline

Flower: Rose
Stone: Pearl

Team: Vanguard International [auxiliary]

Position: Drawing from skills learned during her bounty-hunter days, Leslie acts as an intelligence gatherer and likes to occasionally 'procure' resources of undisclosed origin. Occasionally she will go on missions as a scout; in the field she functions as a lightweight and a finesse fighter. She is also Phil Smith's primary romantic interest.

Skills: Leslie has a powerful charm ability that she can use to influence most anyone but those with particularly strong or well-shielded minds. Since meeting Phil Smith, she has somehow acquired an empathic ability that allows her to sense faint 'impressions' given off by other people. Leslie has well-developed hand-to-hand fighting skills and is knowledgeable in spycraft and the associated gadgetry. Does impeccable fashion sense count?

Naughty Bits: At 40DD-28-40, Leslie Kline is a certified voluptuous vixen, and even without using her charm abilities she knows exactly how to use what Mother Nature gave her. Add in plenty of sensuality and a nearly bottomless wardrobe, and it's easy to see what makes Phil Smith a damn lucky guy.

June Events:

20 -- Cowgirl's birthday
21 -- Summer begins
Third Sunday -- Father's Day

National Dairy Month
