yeah, I was being a bit facetious there. However, a fair number of the people on that list, including myself, Pro, Dave, WB and, I think, Wednesday, have all declined, either here or on one of the other threads about this.
Therefore, rather than have someone win who doesn't want it, i think Rob should review the list, and maybe, in lieu of nominations by third parties, ask for volunteers.

I vote for the following three: I think those three would do a good job. Also, I'd like to say that I think Beardguy would be perfect as a mod for the Deep Thoughts forum. I think he posts more in that forum than anyone else, and is super-keen on the space and science stuff. Just saying...
