There's so many that really more than qualified, but were rejected for whatever reasons.

Polar Boy is obvious, and Paul Levitz and Steve Lightle rectified that later on. But who else do you think should have been on the team?

Porcupine Pete, Infectious Lass, Quake Kid, Absorbancy Boy, Calamity King, Phantom Lad, Calorie Queen, Comet Queen, Power Boy, Color Kid. The list goes on. Who are your nominations?

POLAR BOY certainly, as you said.

INFECTIOUS LASS absolutely.

Aw, c'mon people - LESTER! LESTER! LESTER! LESTER!

Loser Lad even did a great costume over at the LMBP group which would suit Spiffany to a tee. Lots of glittering gold.

Another I'd add, to those mentioned, is Chlorophyll Kid. You ever see kudzu at work, or how simple weeds can break up concrete - not to mention all the poisons and allergies that plants contain - here's a guy who can make plants grow instantly and can carry around an emergency pack of seeds for special situations.

I would agree with Polar Boy & Chlorophyl Kid. They had the unique super powers & showed they could control them (at least after forming the Subs) Infectious Lass actually seemed to lack control of her power while in the Subs. Once she gained control of them she did gain membership.

Also thought Spider Girl & Radation Roy had the power to get in but maybe they were rejected for being mentally unstable since they did end up in the LSV after being rejected.

He wasn't an actual applicant, but I always thought Weight Wizard would make a good member. Could Star Boy now duplicate his powers though?

All of them.

Once the Legion Academy is in place, you make as well take everybody. Even if they don't make the final cut, you can help them control their powers.

WILDFIRE was originally rejected, but look how he turned out! :)

And I actually think Polar Boy was better off being rejected -- it made him start his own group and he probably grew a lot more leading the subs than he would've being low man on the totem pole in the Legion.
