I thought I'd have a whole bunch of posts to read, since I haven't been able to check this place since last week, but there were only a couple of (great) posts! So, is everyone done? The only thing I see missing is Pete's wake... When is someone gonna finish the story?

I'm gonna finish off the story with a rather long post. I just wanted to give everyone a chance to get what they wanted done.

The whole Pete's Wake idea was doomed from the very start, as nobody else really wanted to do it. So I'll have Pete's death confirmed to the group in an epilogue, and the Wake can happen off-panel. Actually, I'd prefer any kind of memorial service for Pete to happen between issues. That way I can always write it in later as a flashback in a solo thread or something. Feel free to post personal reactions (if any) or something in the next story, but it shouldn't be a major subplot any more. Pete's time is done.

What's up?

Just thought I'd drop by and shoot out an interlude. It's a mix of how I wanted to write Turkish out, before I lost freedom of time and shunted the responsibility to Grimm. It also ties into the idea that, even though he's gone for awhile, Turkish will be keeping an eye on Perdita for the coming days. Plus, maybe it gives a glimpse into where Turkish comes from, and ties neatly, timewise, after my The Order: Prelude.

As always, good to see everyone. Take care, and remember that, as usual, everyone in my post is under "Museum Rules" : You can look, but, please don't touch! :)

Danny--your recent posts have been a real throwback to the original MBL style, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.

Great posts, guys. Pro, curiouser and curiouser. [wink]

Mate?! [eh?] Danny must be rubbing off on Grimm. . .

Gooz, nice intro for Priest. I'm gonna miss Sam, though.

Are we ready to put this one to bed, then?

Thanks Grimm.

Sam-Mitch, GREAT POST! Can't wait to see more.

Pro, as always you impress. Hopefully you'll have some time to add another post or two with Turk over the next few weeks.

Danny - Great post! You are doing a wonderful job of writing with Phil. I am very impressed. You captured his personality as well as you know it. There aren't really any big breaks with character, but if you want to go for even more accuracy I put an entry into the Character Profiles thread. Take care!

Well... I try.

KV- Thanks a lot for the comments. That's probably the best compliment I've gotten.

Sammitch- I dig the character of Phil. We need an insecure newbie now that Danny's accepting his new world and discovering his confidence. Stupid character development...

Doctor- What fourth wall? There's a fourth wall?! I laugh at your outdated notions of living in a box! Bah!

Anyway, speaking of stuff that I wasn't really speaking of... CHewy and I have a killer idea for a story to take place in two stories time or so. I believe some of you may have already heard a bit about it (...what was I saying before about not pre-planning...? Do as I say, not as I do...).

I, too, want to express my admiration for Danny's writing, especially for how he tries to make consistent any thing happening in the stories.

You will always be Rypta Gud'n, the TRUE leader of the MBL! :)
