....and I forgot drunks like Ted Kennedy. Lucky for Ted when he retires or his liver gives out Ben Affleck has stated he wants to get into politics.......since he's a drunk and a Democrat he'd be perfect for Massachusetts......now where is Jaburg with one of his Affleck pics?

I don't like Kennedy, but I admire him. He is a lion for his causes.
But, Affleck would be the worst kind of politician for my way of thinking: a person who does not agree with my ideology AND a pretentious idiot.
Also, someone on another board noted that Strom died the day they gave homosexuals the right to sodomy (and upheld affirmative action).
I am a Republican, but no fan of Strom. I think he was the worst kind of hatemongerer that gave the GOP its worst image problem.
I am glad on his last week on Earth, if coherent, he had to deal with these two controversial cases.

While you're taling about term limits it would also help to get Byrd out of Virginia...

Strom was bad for the GOP and bad for the country. The GOP and all politicians need to be inclusive of all groups Gays, Blacks, Minorities, Rich, Poor, White, Pink and Purple......whoever is out there and wants to be a part of the American Dream.....the politicians should be out there trying to make it happen for everyone. Guys like Byrd and Strom are Dinosaurs they don't belong in power.
