http://www.silverbulletcomicbooks.com/rage/index1.htmI hate to admit this, given that I have no faith in DC's ability to handle the character (and after the way the unjustly maligned Birthright and Trinity were both screwed over by the company), but this idea actually looks promising. For once, readers might actually be able to choose which Superman THEY like best, without being forced to slog thru 18 years' worth of back issues to understand one panel today. I may just have to set my DC ban aside and give this a try...well, the Azzarello and Rucka books, anyway. Hell will freeze over before I read Austen the hack. I do have to wonder, though...what will this mean for Superman in the long term? Will the most popular book of the group become the official version of Superman? Or will DC keep this new "three timelines" approach? Personally, I'd prefer the latter. That way readers can pick and choose what they like best.

Hmmmm..I smell ACTION FIGURES here.. cause there'll probably be 3 Supermen with 3 different costumes....and let's not forget the weapons that you'll NEVER see in the comics that will be included in the packaging, to raise the price of the figures! Maybe they'll come up with a Superman figure with REAL working heat vision, and you can use THAT to melt the 3 new figures into ashes.
