so i got home safe from my trip last night. we spent like 6 hours total flying. the planes were pretty good and i felt safe with my sister sitting next to me.

so we got there like 230 on friday and we ate po boys which tasted just like crunchy fried stuff. we downed many a hurricane throughout the day. we danced in clubs on bourbon and just checked out the sights. our hotel was actually on bourbon so we were pleased not to have to walk too far for anything.

later that night we all fell off one by one doue to hangover and the dissappointing food! ugh it was all terrible(told ya i was picky! i knew the food would be a problem)

we found that in all the clubs they basically played the same songs over and over again. i can not tell you how many times i heard jack and diane, pour some sugar on me, yeah, and sweet child of mine in 3 days. its like it was the only songs they knew. i mean there were others in there but you knew those 4 would be thrown in before the night was over.

i danced on stage with my friend niki at the first bar we went to and we gave big shout outs to nj and ny! i have no idea why im always the one pushed to go on stage in bars it was fun tho. some guy outside the club told us we'd get free shots if we went in so of course we did!!

saturday we ventured out. we got more drinkslater after we recovered from the night before's adventures. we went to the mississippi river and saw this big paddle boat. we were planning on eating and going on that tour but it looked really corny. we found a mall as all girls can do and walked through.
it was ok.

then we went to emeril's restaurant at night. it was nice too. i had a plain chicken leg with mushroom risotto because i didnt want it prepared the way it was on the menu. it was yummy my way! we had wine and everyone got desserts except me, my sis, and lq. the bill for 11 people came out to 651.00!! I couldnt believe it!!!

sunday we hung out at the pool all day and met a lady from nj and some guys from florida and oregon. they were all pretty nice.

You ate at Po Boy's... 'course you would be served fried to a crisp food!

I'm glad you're back safe and sound. And let me be the first to say that I missed you, o you whom I like bestest!!!

By the way... Emeril is the Devil! Making you pay that much for a chicken leg! For shame!

what i didnt get to was that it was also southern decadance. i had no idea what this was but i found out quickly!
i guess its like gay pride weekend or something. there were outfits and lack of outfits everywhere. The top 2 i saw were a man had his back towards us and all that was on was a leather belt! ASS cheeks out. i didt want to know if he had anything covering the front my jaw was on the floor!
the next best was a man in chaps with the ass out again. but his cheeks had red hand prints on them i couldnt stop laughing.

there were men in biker gear, dressed as devils , lotsa black mesh shirts, booty choker shorts, stilleto heels, and knee high boots galore! i know they had a blast this weekend.

we went into a gay dance club just for the hell of it. niki's boyfriend and our friend mark even came in with us. i was shocked at that! but we left cuz the music wasnt as great as it should have been for my idea of a gay club.

on the opposite end of this decadance was the bible convention. how strange to plan those two events in the same weekend there were weirdos with the big signs... pray and you'll be save... repent for your sins... hello this is new orleans the air is filled with sin (i'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints, the sinners are much more fun! )

we walked up and down bourbon, and we heard the men on the balcony withthe beads shouting. so i said id flash if someone did it with me. my great sister voulunteered and up went our shirts. it was surprisingly painless. and i didnt care that my friends were standing there either. i told them no pictures but the man on the balcony got it on video (so if im out of a job i know why) and my friend also said there were like 3 camera flashes that went off. needless to say i only got one pair of lousy beads and the bled on my shirt

we sang kareoke in the cats meow. we did the sign by ace of base i was the only one who was singing and i didnt even want to go up there, again how do i get talked into these things .

we spent almost all day sunday in the pool which was nice and refreshing sing the air was so damn hot and humid. it sucked the air out your lungs it was so freaking hot! we ran ito some trouble with the organization of the ghost tour which then led to 3 girls (me included) not speaking to one of our friends who messed up for the reamainder of sunday night to early monday morning. (girls... i know ) we worked it out tho things were still awkward. but oh well the trip is over and isurvived. i made it to new orleans, and i never have to go back!

nothing. my ass is staying in jersey. some of the same group is planning a trip to the dominican republic but theres no way im going there!
