stevie ray lost a retirement match in the wcw. of which, he's no longer affiliated.
the austrailian market is, apparently, incredibly untapped. more importantly, non-saturated. they havent had the opportunity to see how large the wwf is, in comparison to the wcw.
when the wcw shows were down there, if i remember correctly, just about EVERY big name was out or injured, or only showed for a few minutes. and yet, the shows were still sold out, and had the fans goin bezerk.
supposedly, the same is true of the european market. this "wcw-lite" promotion might garner a strong following on both continents -- perhaps even empowering it enough to be succesful in the states?
