when i saw planet of the apes this weekend, i was treated to something more than just a good movie -- previews!
one such preview was that of "shallow hal"
the story line, in short, is that this guy (hal), is on a search for the hottest chick he can find, even tho they all seem to be bitches. then, he runs into some magical guy (its an infomercial guy, but i cant place the name), and suddenly, instead of outter beauty, he can only see inner beauty.
up to there, it sounds like a sweet n'simple disney flick. but it aint!
turns out that when he looks around, all he sees are these really hot girls! ... but all anyone else sees are monstrously fat girls!
the whole movie, at that point, becomes one enormous (no pun) fat joke. and its great!!! i was laughin my ass off... sooo many people disapproved of my actions, so, if i wasnt laughing, i was defeding myself! i dont wanna ruin any of the visual humor, but... if you like insulting people, and who doesnt... check out at least the preview to this film!
