I thought Memento had some trippy notions on the concept of memory and truth.

For movie I would say Garden State.

TV shows don't really make me think that deeply. TV shows are for distracting you form real life and entertaining you.

For books I would have to say High Fidelty.

I suppose the Bible makes me think deep. But before I read the contents, my mother educated me on it during early adolesence, so anything I read after that was more educational than deep.

I'm curious...just what 'deep thoughts' did these choices inspire?

Oh...and a book that everyone must read: 'Ishmael' by Daniel Quinn. It will alter the way you think about life, propoganda (a trap into wich it falls itself) and society in general.

The lady who bought it for me said she read it in an hour and loved every moment of it. She also said I should be in a very good mood when I read it. Otherwise I'd be prone to shoot me-self half way through.

So if you're teacher put down War and Peace in front of you said "You have to read this in two hours or I flunk you," you'd be angry?
