Altough we have a lot less stories to vote, than last year, there is space for some awards to assign:
Best story: vanguard 18, vanguard 19; vanguard europe 3; murder mystery.
Best solo story: vanguard the siege; when we were heroes (old universe MBL vs Vanguard); drake marshall last watch; lykopis regina; in this corner: lykopis vs ozzy; strikeforce 3 issue 1.
I hope I didn't forget anything completed out.
Plus the usual stuff about best posters, characters, supporting characters, moments...

No, BruteForce was introduced with the Aisling issue, IMO (I am sure he was around for the Dan vs Hal story), so it's ineligible as a "new" character. Sorry, Grimmo (but you are going to won a Robbie anyway).
By the way, Prester John was introduced earlier, too, so it has to be scrapped from my list.

Here's my nominations, and a sincere apology for not posting to...well, anything. I do want to come back, but I'm struggling to come up with anything for Europe, and there's no new Vanguard Story to import Tommy into (I like him too much to ditch him).
Best shared Story: Vanguard #3: Oktoberfest.
Ultimately, it came down to this or Murder Mystery, and whilst I really liked Murder Mystery, I enjoyed this one more.
Best Solo: Lykopis Regina
This one won on grounds of being the most pleasant surprise I've had when reading Vanguard. What I expected was an entertaining story: what I got was a brilliant look into the mindset of a Vanguard Europe mainstay, combined with a plot worthy of the best thrillers
Best Character: Grissom Montag
I loved Ozzy and Adem, but Grissom for me was a far more interesting read. I enjoyed his moments in the mystery and in 19, and also the way he remained interesting without taking the foreground
Best Supporting Character: Penny Goodweather
'Cos she makes me laugh
Best New Character: Robo Squirrel
You know y'all dig the Squirrel. The fact that he earned himself a wonderfully touching death scene after onyl two stories is testament to his brilliance
Best Villain: Declan 2
I enjoyed Vanguard 19, and Declan was part of that.
Best Poster: CJ
Two things swung this for me: her posts, and her other posts. She rules!
Favourite Moment: The death of Robo Squirrel
