The guy you sometimes see in the audience with a backwards red cap and a light blue shirt, and usually a ton of signs, he was there. He's been to so many that one could almost call him a WWE superstar.
The first several rows of folding chairs were WWE Royal Rumble design that fans can take home, as long as they take it with them to one exit and present their ticket stub. watching the last couple of weeks, they definitely took a quick and easy route with getting Cena some popularity again. pitting him against Edge (who the fans are hating, mostly because of the Matt/Lita thing) and pairing him up with Flair (who's always over, but especially in his hometown) in Flair's home town is a quick fix solution.
but I feel they've pretty much shot their wad with it, having Cena get the belt back so quickly and easily. he's still the same old character and people will soon get tired of his shtick again.
it should also be noted that with Edge as champion, the ratings were going up. the whole thing just feels like another squandered opportunity.

I think people were getting sick of seeing faces as champs!
Both Cena & Batista held the belts for nearly a year,and its just so much more fun when a heel holds the belt!
The thing with Edge is that he,at the moment,is a perfect heel & the fans love to hate the fact he is champ.
People will tune in hopes that they see him lose the belt to someone,but secretly dont want him to lose,as thats when it starts getting boring!
Also,the fact Edge is a first timer pushed things up,just like the initial spurt when Benoit,Eddie,Cena & Batista first won the title!
This way they have also made Edge look weak as it looks like the only way he can win the title was by attacking a weakened Cena,as he was unable to successfully defend it only a few weeks later!

How many times, in how many Smackdowns AND PPVs, have we seen this match? Answer: I lost count about the time I stopped watching. This, in my mind, isn't a main event match because it's been played to death on free TV. Therefore it's my opinion that the WWE needs to step up, either to make this match stand out from past matches with some solid build-up (which I doubt will happen), OR they need to set up some other matches that justify the cost of this PPV. Cuz Rey-Rey vs Angle just doesn't cut it, no matter how solid these two competitors are.

We have never seen (to my knowledge) Rey Mysterio challenge Kurt Angle for the Heavyweight title!
If you really wanna see something new for the title,they could always give you Lashley vs The Boogeyman!
Its not about how many times we have seen a competitor face another competitor,its about how good that match is that counts.
I'd rather see five hundred matches between Kurt & Rey than one match between at least 90% of the roster!
Anyway,everyone is just assuming it will be Rey vs Kurt anyway!
Who says he will challenge for the SD title?
Who says Kurt will still be champ come WM?
Once again,I dont see what more you can want from a PPV main event.
Yes,the probability that the rest of the card will suck is inevitable,but if you think this match is crap,then you certainly aint gonna enjoy anything else!

the people that keep titles are a waste, how long as trish been women's champ now? and kane and big show, i like kane, but, when was the last legit defense of the tag titles. either way, the titles are either jumpin from person to person or basically idle
