So I've been sketching some of the images I was linked for reference and then trying to draw "something else" in the same style. Here's one of the sketches from break yesterday (colored last night). I added the colors and the words, although the words were written by Greg Rucka and maybe someone else in the comics (No Man's Land), and the illustration credit belongs to, of course, Alex Ross from the Batman Black and White "Case Study." Rob cobra kai 15000+ posts Joined: Oct 2000 Posts: 45,820 in the dojo without fear	i like the colors, but i hates the text. the hand-against-crack is a faux focal point that you shouldn't cover with text. try reducing the font size and ploppin the text in the left hand side over joker's black tux (i can't believe you didn't opt to make it purple!). i'd also suggest making the joker spoken text lines a zanier jokery font (or, if you had a brazillion years, "fracture" the text along the mirror cracks) i like the "merry christmas" font and color and local, i'd just make the white border bolder since the actual letters are so thin. tis an excellent image. giant picture
