I'll watch it. I missed out on That 70s Show when it first started so, I'll try to get in on the ground floor of this one. I'm thinking it may be a case of trying to catch lightening in a bottle twice and it may not work....but, I'll give it a shot.

I'll ditto that thought.

The previews for it look hilarious. I'll definately try and catch it.

I'm curious though...will 70's and 80's run at the same time? As in "during the same season(s)" not time slot. Anyone know?

I just got done watching it and found to be a fairly enjoyable show. Granted, we couldn't get too much of a plot in due to the necessity of character development, but all in all, it was fairly good this time around. I'll prolly tune in next week, at least...

Watched it. It was OK...mostly I laughed cuz so many of the references hit home for me. I'll watch it 4 more times just to see if it goes anywhere.

saw it.

was thoroughly disappointed and bored by the first 10 minutes or so.

but, its amazing how much better a show gets when chicks kiss!!

...

i dunno -- i guess i found that it unnecessarily forced a lot of 80s issues into the episode, just so that you didnt forget it was the 80s (like the cocaine references, the dynasty game... stuff like that seemed like they were just added for quick 80s gimmicky laughs).

is the 70s show the same way?

i figured this show would somehow relate more to me, since i can actually remmeber the 80s. and i did my best to place the show 1984 (relating it to early episodes of family ties, cosby show, diff'rent strokes, punky brewster... shows i acutally watched then).

and... it just didnt seem or look right. like they didnt do enough to get the show to be 80s, they just covered the obvious things, like big hair. (where as shows like the wonder years seemed to go ALL out placing themselves in the past so well that you forgot it was the point of the show).

ill watch another episode or two. hopefully, more chicks'll kiss -- im always ok with that gimmick.

The show would have done better if they sent Cory's dead weight ex back to whatever cess pool she slithered out of. He moved on with his life while she moved in on everybody connected to Cory in any way. "It's over, we're through" my bombchu.

I used to roam the world fighting monsters and sleeping in mud. Now look at me, living in a castle, sleeping in a bed. Aren't I sweet? Yuck!
