If you get a refund (to your Visa card) when your balance is at 0$...should it show up as a negative total, or will it remain at 0$?
I'm asking because supposedly this asshat refunded me...but there is no credit showing on my online statment.

They may send you a check??? I think otherwise they would have to pay you interest rates.

Huh...I'll call them tomorrow and see what's up. I was thinking along the same lines, but them holding the balance until I make a transaction against the account.

You can't show a negative balance on your credit statement or credit report.

And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.

I once made a payment on a credit card at the same time they took my monthly payment as I got my dates confused.
The company ended up owing me money & it showed up on my statement as a credit in my favour!

No, that isn't what I meant.
I meant that your actual printed credit statement can't hold a negative number. That's what I've been told by Visa anyway (don't know about other such companies). I know for a fact that you can't have a negative number show up on your credit report. At best the account maintains a balance of zero and shows "Paid in Full."

I've had printed statements that read -64.98 for example. I sometimes over pay my card before a vacation, that way when I get back I have little to no money on the card.
you can have a minus balance for a few months before they ask you if you want a check for that amount.
