Have you ever had a job that you really liked. Not that it necessarily paid well, but that you just enjoyed? Conversly, which jobs have you HATED! I used to work in a comic shop, and even though it wasn't easy by any stretch of the imagination I still had fun talking with the customers, about comics and BS like that. It sucked on many occations; someone has to put all of those cardboard boxes together, and out the boards in the comic bags, and orgainize allll of those comics and work the register, and help with the new shipments, and make sure the right subscriber gets the right comics, and.......you get the idea. But I still had a good time. As for crappy jobs, I was an assistant to the honors department at my college. Not only was the pay horrible, but I couldn't stand the woman (teacher) I had to work with, and I got very little recognition for my hard work. I get pissed just thinking about it. Anyone?

I used to moderate the comics section on Rob Kamphausen's boards, and that was the most miserable job I ever did. The boss was such a bastard. Did I mention he was gay? He was very gay. Liberace gay. Bastard.

Hmm let's see. I've worked at a dotcom. That was fun for the most part. It had it's moments though. Now I'm a cookie deorator. I get to eat all the free cookies I want when I'm at work and when I work Saturdays, I get to take home free cookies. BUT the pays less than my first office job so this is just going to be a temporary thing until I get around to updating my resume and look for something else. Not sure if I still want to do web work though. As for jobs I didn't like, pick a month. Since I started working 12 years ago (man I'm old!) I've worked at so many places that I've lost count. Most of which I didn't like more than I liked. Course most of those jobs were temp assignments, but still.

Despite the frequent physical and mental abuse the patients can often give me...I really enjoy working with the kids.... just had a bike accident and was off work due to losing my two front teeth. I came in on night shifts (the patients are asleep and wont see me the temporary caps come ion tomorrow) and there were Get Well Cards waiting for me!

I was a self-employed contract cleaner for 4 years which really reeled in the money.......and I got to work on my own - no bothersome facist bully boys here, matey-boy! Crapola jobs, just out of the Irish Army, fresh in England, I joined a security company that delivered money to banks, shops, etc....etc..... I was held up 17 times in 6 months before I knocked it on the head. Worse thing about the job was the idiot woman manager, I had a gun in my face and that cunt used to ask me why I handed the money over!

BACK ON TOPIC: I pretty much never REALLY hated any job However when I quit my paper route this bitch who used to complain about getting a ripped up paper all the time (the fat ass was so lazy she made me throw the paper on her third story balcony so she wouldn't have to walk down the steps and it often got ruined in the process) never tipped me and always complained to the paper! On my last day I took a dump in her paper and wrote in big bold black marker I'M TIRED OF YOUR SHIT!.

I like my job. Its easy, and it pays good for the retarded work I do. The only thing I hate are the King Shit customers who think our world revolves around them, even our conversations. For example, Saturday some lady chewed me out big time because I made a joke and she thought it was at her, even though she wasn't around when I made it, she just heard the laughter. and the old ladies who stick their hands in my pants to give me a tip when I carry out their groceries for them and call me "big pockets". They're like my grandmas age. what the fuck!

I really love my job. Even with all the red tape BS I have to put up working for the gov't, I really like the flexibility of my job, even though I often have to go into roach infested homes in shitty neighborhoods. But nothing beats seeing the men and women who fought for our country getting the benefits they deserve and getting their lives back on track. It's difficult work, but very gratifying.

BTW, I love my job had another meaning when I worked at another place. One of the guys (Franta knew him as Big Al), used to think he was slick and ask the women "do you love your job?" and it was code for "do you like to give head?". Then he would ask, "do you do overtime?" and that would mean "do you swallow"...

thats a stretch.... he should have been on the other side of the desk and he didnt do much work...other than working on Heather. I still remember the day he was flipping through GQ I was bringing some paperwork to another nurse while she was handing a patient meds...and the nurse asked Al why the patient didnt havew any pants on...he just shrugged his shoulders "I helped him get dressed at the startr of the shift"
