They're 0-11, soon to be 0-12, and headed towards the worst regular season record in NFL history. The 2007 Miami Dolphins are on the threshhold of becoming the first NFL team to go winless for an entire season since the Tampa Bay Buccaneers racked up an 0-14 record back in '76. So I put it to you, ladies and gents, where should the bulk of the blame for this epic choke fall? On Wayne Huizenga? Cam Cameron? John Beck? Ricky Williams? The O-line? The front office? The (nonexistent)defense? Or all of the above?

Dude, have you seen their first 11 games? The 'Fins are a JOKE this year. There is absolutely no way on earth they're going to avoid finishing 0-16; the only reason John Beck hasn't been waived or traded yet is because Wayne Huizenga can't find anybody gullible enough to take him. Beck's teammates have proven themselves beyond the shadow of a doubt to be quitters who fold under pressure like lawn chairs. And as for Cam Cameron, that twit couldn't coach a Pop Warner team...if I were the Dolphins owner, Cameron would have been fired by Week 3 at the latest.
The latest chapter of the Ricky Williams saga is icing on the cake. This squad is too distracted-- and frankly too incompetent --to be anything other than cannon fodder for better teams to enhance their playoff seedings as the '07 season winds down. When the definitive book of the worst NFL teams of all time is finally written, expect at least four chapters of it to be devoted to the 2007 Dolphins.
And one more thing: Cameron's name is effectively mud as far as the NFL coaching fraternity is concerned. Once he's canned, which will probably be by the end of the season at the latest, even Matt Millen won't want to him-- and Millen hires practically anybody.

Have you watched their last four games? They lost to the Giants by a field goal (13-10), to the Bills by a field goal (13-10), to the Eagles (a team that almost beat the Pats) by 10 points in a game that saw them pretty competitive throughout (17-7), and to the Steelers by a field goal - the only score in the game (3-0). They play the Jets next week and the last time those two shit-arse teams met up, the difference was a field goal (31-28). Then the Bills again, and later the 4-7 Ravens and 4-7 Bengals (with the Pats in between). Their schedule is a virtual cakewalk and the last four games suggest that their defense can do its job. I'm not suggesting that they'll end up 5-11, but you've got them written off and I'm saying "not so fast." Plus you're a fucking jinx who makes nonsensical, inflammatory statements that have little if any basis in reality. So suggesting that they could win one or two of the last five isn't unreasonable.

Actually it is, JM. Miami's washed up. They're done. They'll lose all of their remaining five games, and at least three of those losses will be by margins of more than forty points. Come December 30th, Cam Cameron's NFL coaching career will officially come to an ignominious end; the guy makes Rod Rust look like Vince Lombardi, for God's sake.
As a matter of fact, since I've already gone out on a limb quite a bit, let me go out even further: not only will the Dolphins lose all of their remaining games this season, they'll lose most of their games next season too. As I said in one of my previous posts, these guys have quit on themselves, each other, their coaches, and their fans. Thanks to a string of bonehead decisions by the ownership and front office, the Dolphins have officially become the laughingstock of the AFC and will in all likelihood remain so for the next 20-30 years at least.

In their first 11 games, while they did lose all 11, 6 of them were lost by less than a touchdown, 5 were by 3 points (including Monday's 3-0 loss to the Steelers) and one was to the Texans...by 4. Their widest margin of defeat was by 21 points, then by 18 (to a Raiders team led by a vengeance fueled Culpepper), then by 17 (to the Cowboys), then by 10 (to the Browns and the Eagles). There's nothing that supports your 40-point margin prediction. Which teams will score that many of them, Chris? Inflammatory and nonsensical.
Is it possible that they'll go 0-5 for the rest of the season? Sure. But they could pull off the upset against any one of the next five teams. And your posts practically guarantee them a win in December.

I concur. The Dolphins will win at least one game this year. They are bad but they have momnets whne the D plays pretty well, That is going to be enough to eke out a close win over either the Jets or the Bills.

Not only that, but fan support from the Pro Player Stadium crowd is, at best, half-hearted right about now; last but not least, Cam Cameron, as I've said before, has conclusively demonstrated that he's not qualified to serve as head coach for an NFL franchise.
If they're lucky, Miami MIGHT be able to salvage a tie from one of their remaining five games...other than that, however, the 2007 season is going to end for the Dolphins the same way it began: in humiliating defeat. These aren't your father's Dolphins, or even your older brother's-- they've got absolutely zero fighting spirit in them. Zero. Mark my words, the Jets will stomp on them next Sunday like Godzilla trashing Tokyo; the week after that, Buffalo will humiliate them; the week after that they'll get clobbered by the Ravens; after Baltimore's done embarrassing them, they'll wind up on the receiving end of yet another Patriots blowout; after that, it's questionable whether Miami will even bother showing up for their scheduled season finale against the Bengals.

Yesterday was their last chance to salvage anything good from this train wreck of a season, and they blew it big time. Now the only question left to answer is whether Cameron will be fired before or after the Dolphins' season finale against the Bengals(which everybody knows Miami will lose, just like they lost Games 1-12 of the '07 NFL season and just like they're about to lose Games 13-15).
