Nah, I know what fried. It was the south bridge on the Motherboard.
You see I bought this really kick ass Video card for my computer. Now awhile back the fan the was on the south bridge crapped out. So I Nigger rigger an after market fan on the heatsink to keep it cool. Well the new video card was so large it wouldn't fit in the computer with the makeshift fan cooling I going. So I removed the fan a few weeks back. Computer was running ok. It would have an occasional overheating issue. I was planning on buying a proper heatsink and fan at the end of this week. I guess I was a day late and a dollar short. Cause It toasted.

I prefer to wrap my own presents. I'm getting a lot better at it; they don't look like a 7 year old wrapped them anymore!

And, to be fair, one of my favorite friends there is blind and I take every opportunity available to make fun of that and we're still friends. That guy never fit there. He never got the spirit of the RKMBs. We're gonna keep an eye on the obits, see if he finally left or if he really did have a heart attack.

i still have a few years for that, i believe.
the other issue is that i also like to buy most holiday gifts on the internet, because i hate stores and i am lazy. and, more depressingly often than not, they do not offer gift wrapping options.
so now, i have to stock pile plastic bags from a number of stores, for just incase moments

Actually a lot of the interent stores do offer gift wrapping. You just have to know where to look. In fact, I prefer buying from the interent because I can have the stuff for Mrs G and the G-girls shipped to my office, professionally wrapped.

Course you could always wrap in duct tape, make 'em work for it. But I do like putting something in a decorative bag that someone else gave to me last year. Christmas is all about passing on the cheer.
