Consider me somewhat underwhelmed by the first issue. I love Morrie to pieces. But, sometimes, I like a straight out story. This is all vague setup, and per his normal works, all the storybeats are off for me. Basically, I read it and felt nothing at all... I was a bit disappointed too, especially by the ending (who's that black guy supposed to be?). The guy at the end who woke up looking at his hands? I assumed it was Orion or Jonn possessing that guy. Probably DC's way of making Orion a black guy. I guess that would be ok considering Orion was always dorky looking. Did Darkseid kill Turpin again? That would be a stupid way for him to go out.
