Last summer
At the end of last summer Moore moved from Las Vegas to Scottsdale and whilst discount golf clubs we can't know for sure he has prepared himself with a recce to the Ritz-Carlton club we do have proof that he has a strong record in the desert.

In the last 12 months he has finished sixth at TPC Scottsdale, taylormade r9 driver seventh at TPC Summerlin, eighth at Grayhawk and 10th in the Bob Hope Classic(ishiner).

We can also turn to his extraordinary record in matchplay as an amateur: callaway x-22 irons he won one US Amateur Championship, two US Amateur Public Links Championships and the prestigious Western Amateur.

It is over five years since those wins, but it shows he had a certain flair for one-on-one golf.

Add in a second place finish on a Jack Nicklaus layout (at Muirfield Village) and
titleist ap2 irons the widely available 100/1 looks on the big side.

Last pick is Denmark's Soren Hansen.

At first glance you might think I have gone berserk because the Dane's taylormade r7 cgb max Irons record in this event is two matches played, two matches lost.

But there is method in my madness and it centres on the Nicklaus factor.
