It's nice to see them all, even just hanging around talking. Haven't watched it yet but it's obviously better than the Source. Also apparently Adrian Paul did a series of Big Finish audio plays with more coming next year.

I only like the original Highlander film, and Highlander:The series.
Highlander: The Quickening was terrible, then there was Third Dimension which wasn't much better. The best I can say about it is it wasn't the complete shit The Quickening was. Mario Van Peebles? Really?
Highlander Endgame would rape my childhood much like The Phantom Menace did the year before.
Highlander the Source was unwatchable.
Still those films have their fans. I guess it's alot like being fans of new Metallica.

Highlander the series began to really suck too.
That series jumped the shark when Mac killed Ritchie.

The final series was shit. Some of the episodes didnt even feature Mac.
When it was just Mac, Richie and Dawson, it was awesome (I was glad when they killed Tess).
Characters like Methos and Fitzcairn were cool though.
As for the films.
The 2nd was trash.
The 3rd wasnt that bad (although still not great), and thankfully ingnored the second film.
I had high hopes for Endgame and The Source, but both were so far removed from the tv show, it wasnt funny.

The Fitzcairn episodes are great. One of my favorites is the one with the Stone of Scone.

The Fitzcairn episodes are great. One of my favorites is the one with the Stone of Scone. It was gutting when they finally killed him as there was real chemistry between him and Mac.

I only like the original Highlander film, and Highlander:The series. they were the best but i can be forgiving to some of the movies. there's a limit to story in a movie and they can't have Duncan/Conner spending 20 minutes moralizing and discussing the tactics/motives of his rival, which is what made the series so strong in terms of story. so in a movie i expect a decent villain, good fights, and a tiny bit of characterization. Highlander: The Quickening was terrible, then there was Third Dimension which wasn't much better. The best I can say about it is it wasn't the complete shit The Quickening was. Mario Van Peebles? Really? I saw Quickening once for each version and refuse to see it again. besides the shit alien idea everything in the movie is just bad. the dialogue, the acting, the setting, just shit. I liked 3 in as much as I got a bootleg tape when i was 14 and watched it a lot during my teen years because it was very 90's and entertaining. just a junk food movie. Highlander Endgame would rape my childhood much like The Phantom Menace did the year before. I liked Endgame. It's like the TNG films where you'll never get what you had on tv but it looked nice, the fights were great and more elaborate, and you got to see familiar characters again. they had to kill Conner because Lambert just looked old. Like Data he couldn't keep playing an ageless character so at least he got a good send off. Highlander the Source was unwatchable. agreed. it wasn't Highlander by any stretch of the imagination.
