Thor died fighting the Serpent in the finale of Fear Itself. Odin took the bodies Thor and Cul (Odin's brother who possessed Red Skull's daughter, Sin) to Asgard and banishing the other Asgardians to earth(?) The Mighty lost their super powered mightiness just as soon as they had gotten them. Final battle was anti-climatic. Weapons destroyed. Cap's shield repaired with visible scar. All very meh.
