Eh. Didn't read the first series, didn't enjoy the 'Tec back-ups, could care less about the new series.

Next topic please!

"Could care less" implies that you do have a certain amount of interest. I believe the phrase you're looking for is "Couldn't care less".

he's right.

"i could care less" just makes it look like you're striving for less care.

aside from that...

the book was actually pretty cool. not great, not amazing, but a good read -- good enuf to get me back for the next issue.

the art style is VERY similar to mazzuchelli's batman year one. and brubaker's writing style is great for this book (a better match, in my mind, than him on the bat books).

its a completely different book from the previous catwoman series (which was silly, at best)

Silly, but...Jim Balent's art.

Purple clad mounds of joy sold the book to me, I freely admit.

well, i recomend this new book. tis good stuff.

as for the old series... twas just too silly. and, jim balent's pencils, tho really good at times, were never "alluring" enough to generate sales (for me).

typically a wasted book.

THO... i must say that after penciling 70+ issues of a series, jim balent REALLY got fucked by dc. they didnt get him nothin -- didnt even make a big deal about his final issue. that was pretty cold, like him or not.
