Rue Morgue Magazine

One of a number of cult, horror and sci-fi film magazines I subscibe to...but one of the better ones.

I used to subscribe to Fangoria,Gorezone(cancelled) and Film Threat. I used to pick up some others like Deep Red as well.

I have a letter in the new issue of Rue Morgue.

Really? Which one? Letter, I mean...the latest issue I've got is the 5th anniversary Halloween issue with the lost Vincent Price interview....

It's the one signed Grimm. Last one on the letters page, under the heading: SPEAK OF THE FIEND. Wonder what it could be about.

Yeah...I finally figured out which one from the name....hee hee...I t'ain't much on booklarnin'....

Anyways, I totally agree with what you said about the Misfits contributions to horror media...they should recieve some recognition...

My magazine subscriptions are pretty standard, Entertainment Weekly, Time, Newsweek, Gamepro, Wizard(.... ....), Previews, Sports Illustrated, Slam, Star Wars Insider. My family's weird about magazines.

HK, do you ever read Juxtapoz? It's an art mag edited by Robert Williams (yes, THAT Robert Williams). It's pretty cool.

The Complete New Yorker : Eighty Years of the Nation's Greatest Magazine

New Yorker magazine released an 8-DVD set featuring scans of every issue of the magazine dating back to 1925. I saw this in a bookstore and would love to see this done for other magazines - Rolling Stone (a personal favorite of mine), Time, etc.

Cool.... this would be a good idea for other publications. How long before DVDs become the primary form of media?

I think DVD's would have to become more accessible, i.e., when you're sitting in the doctor's office...

Well, they're gettin' smaller and smaller... plus, think of the ad space!
