Good. Not as many people as in years past, but still good.
Lesse....Peter Mayhew(Chewbacca) was on the plane ride to Chi-town, right in front of me. That guy is fucking huge.
Ray Park and Warwick Davis were staying at my hotel(there might have been others that I didn't see), both of whom I saw at breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning.
I spent most of my time looking through comic boxes and movie racks at the convention, as I hate standing in ridiculous lines just to have somebody sign my comic book. I did meet Martin Nodell, creator of the original Green Lantern though. It was easily the highlight of my trip, as the man is a living legend(and, judging by his appearance, he probably won't be living a whole lot longer). I was almost shocked at how few people were lining up to meet him, I literally just walked right up without any wait and shook his hand. He had a bunch of green lanterns set up around him, which was cool.

I've met him at cons before. He and his wife are both very gracious, and he was kind enough to sign my GA Green Lantern Archive.

I met him at the SD Con this year. He seemed pretty spry to me. Not only did he create the Golden Age GL, I think he also created the Pillsbury Doughboy! Meeting him, and Shelton Muldoff when I was younger was a very cool experience.
I saw Stan Lee and Will Eisner together looking at crap, and there was a big crowd behind them just staring. I said "Fuck this" and went ahead and started shooting the shit with them. They're pretty cool guys themselves.
I went Saturday and had a great time. We did a lot of walking. Due to my friends respertory problem we sat in a cafe for a bit pretty early in the game. On our way out Peter Mayhew walked by on his way to the men's room. As A-man said he is tall, I'd hate to have been him going through growing pains. I got my picture taken in front of the Batman backdrop as well as with Batman and Wonder Woman. The other highlights were getting McGuinness' and Dexter Vines' signature on both copies of Superman/Batman that I had, the DCU Panel, and getting my hands on a Mattel-Batman exclusive. This year was so much better than last year and man did I spend a lot of money. I also have pictures, lots of 'em. If I can figure out how to get them online I'll put them up. Oh, did anyone get into the Kevin Smith panel? Tix were out by the time I got there.

Oh, he definitely can still talk the talk(infact, he had some pretty interesting comments on the current GL run, heh). I just meant he doesn't look like he's in tip-top shape.
The guy does the Motor City Con every year, you'd think he was invisible the way people ignore him.
