I hate that Mike Carlin fuck!!

I want to see this published pretty damn bad. I don't give a rat's ass about Mike Carlin's 20 year old grudges, and I don't give a shit if Shooter's an asshole either.

I want to see the story too!
Why should WE Legion lovers
suffer because of long

Any chance of this happening or is the grudge still active and operational between DC and Shooter?

More than that, though, I want to see that Jim Shooter has got rid of the mullet.

No one can deny that Marvel's BEST years were when Shooter was EIC. And he set the pace for the Legion's direction. Having him write a story arc would be like Ditko coming back to do Spider-Man.

Where is he now? Shooter, I mean.

He's writing a book, the last I heard. I think it might have to deal with his career in comics and such.

I always liked Shooter. Those that called him an ass are the ones who he made actually do their jobs. Wizard actually had a good article on his tenure as Marvel's EIC. When he first came to work for the company as a regular editor, writers were handing scripts directly to artists. The editors would only get to see the finished product. He ruffled a lot of feathers by demanding to see the scripts first, then asking writers and artists to make changes (the job of an editor). His decissions led to some of the best comics of the time. Shooter was only an ass to those who didn't want to work or who thought that they knew better.

I just got a back issue of Comics Journal (1980) featuring a Shooter interview. Should be interesting history.

Is Carlin still in DC comics?
