Whoa! It added my avatar to my old posts too! Life in the 31st century is so cool.

Sorry Cru. I hadn't submitted a Jeckie yet. If you have a particular pic in mind, let me know and I'll try to hunt it down.

For everyone else, if you already have a pic and have a place on-line where it is posted, use this thread to post it and a request to Rob. If you don't have a place on-line where it is available, e-mail it to Rob. These are his requirements:

color mode: RGB
file types: JPG or GIF
file size: 1kb or under (not 1.25 kb or 1.08 kb)
resolution: 72 dpi
physical size: 60 x 60 pixels (which is like .8 x .8 inches, in 72 dpi)

If you don't have access to a paint program or just don't think you can make one of your own, I don't mind if you send me a request. For Legionnaires I'm using the Who's Who with all the head shots done by Steve Lightle.

Boy, making an avatar is harder than I thought. I was actually going to do a Princess Crujectra one, and I got it down to 72 dpi and 60x60, but I can't seem to get it below 2kb! Maybe I'm just a little bloated today...?

At first, I had my preferences set to not show avatars. But I changed my mind, and I'm glad - I'm enjoying them (but I don't feel I need one).

(It's probably just as well. Triads Purple, Neutral, and Orange came over & are hogging my comics looking for their best shots. I'm trying to convince them to be Buttercup, Blossom, and Bubbles (respectively) but they're not listening!)

I tend to be plain anyway. No custom title, rarely use smilies, etc.

I'm going to see if I can find one of Olivier's drawings of Chuck. That would be the bestest avatar.

Unless of course I can find one of Shady (the poster, not the Legionairre)

Where I work we used to play a game where we typecast our staff as different actors as if we were going to make a movie about our office.

After that got old, we decided to cast ourselves as cartoon characters and I got cast as Pepe Le Pew because I'm always scampering after the cute straight guys who work here, similar to how Pepe was always scampering after that cat in the cartoons.

Pepe and me. Always looking for love in all the wrong places.

So, needless to say, when I saw that Pepe was one of the Avatar options, I had to have him.

Matter-eater Lad is HTG my fave superhero. If they have an older Tenz version I would switch to that but otherwise I'm a Bismol booster [cool]

I've really started to identify certain posters with their distinctive avatars... so I'm a little amused whenever I see someone I recognize on a thread, and then realize... "Oh wait, it's not [person], it's someone else with the same avatar!"

Gods forbid someone else should actually WANT to have Kool-Aid Man...

Stuey, I've always been more of a Hawaiian Punch guy myself. If he ever cleans up his act and adds at least 1% juice to his mixes, maybe I'll take a closer look.

What?!? Somebody actually likes Hawaiian Punch more than Kool-Aid. Blasphemy! It's shocking, I don't think I can handle such rampant insanity. *Faints*

"Punchy" the Hawaiian Punch Guy is OK, but he's a bit too pugilistic for me... (so Kool-Aid Man seems to have a penchant for wanton property destruction, but still)

[mediator] For the best of both worlds, mix equal parts Kool-Aid and Hawaiian Punch!* [/mediator]

*Plus lots and lots of vodka.
