I know you all have heard Tennant is on his way out (last few episodes were crap sorry havent read the last posts)

UNREALISTIC FANTASY John Cleese we need an older looking Doc

Possible but biased by my opinion Simon Pegg......wouldnt it be awesome to see him against Nick Frost' Master

But my boytoy Roy tells me its the guy from Jekyll thats first up and he dont like him (I dont know him)

cmon give us your dreams hopes and fears of the new Doctor

After having all these cool and with-it Doctors, I say they should change it up and go with someone who could pull off "nebbishy". I vote Martin Freeman, from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

James Nesbitt can fuck off.

Seeing as he has already been a villain very recently, and he is devoted to Hollywood these days, I very much doubt it!

I read that Colin Salmon is in contention for the part. I also read that the press is already spinning this as the Obamanization of Dr. Who.

Praise Allah!

Izzard: no no no!
I'd love someone with a low profiel, so they don't bring baggage. Someone very different to Tennant.
Nesbitt (the guy from Jeckyll) has already said he's not interested.

Are there still rumors that they were going to get Jennifer Saunders or some other female actress to portray a female Doctor, or have those been quashed?

Tennant was not a Hollywood superstar, and barely anyone knew who he was when he signed.
He has only become a star because of Who.

yeah, he'd done bits and pieces and one mini series that got a fair bit of advertising but was on BBC4 I think, which doens't have a massive audience.
