The Nelson/Dylan version is my favorite. The Nelson/Haggard version is a little too 80's synth sound.

The version with Dylan is clearly the better. However, the version with Haggard is the one I first heard and I still enjoy it, 80s musical florishes aside.
I wish they'd release the Dylan version "officially" as opposed to just via crappy audio on YouTube.
Weirdly enough, I actually prefer Townes's own horrible vocalized version to the Nelson/Haggard version. Of course, hearing Willie play it live is a completely different story altogether.

This is the first time I've seen the performance. I've had a the MP3 of it for years. It's where Dylan calls VanZandt a poet.

Do I have the time to mock Snarf some more? I mean, that one took me ages to make, hence the fact it still stands as a unique body or work (not including the RKMBs one which is just a collage of Photshop stuff).

There's a Black Cab Session with Brian Wilson as well... holy shit, I'm not the biggest Beach Boys fan ever or anything, but it's amazing how well the guy keeps his voice:
I've all the Dresden Dolls stuff, as well as her solo album and a side project called Evelyn Evelyn. It's amazing how little support she (and they) get from the radio stations up here, considering that they're from the area. They put on a great live show.
