Guessing this is directed at me. No, we haven't tied the knot yet. We had a good long talk about it and decided to hold off for awhile. Honestly, we think we are just as happy together now as we would be if we got hitched. We had a long talk about the concept of marriage in the twenty-first century and state interference in a private/religious institution and, decided that we'd rather stand on principle (however right or wrong said principle may be) and refrain from taking part in something we find so abhorrent in its current form than to do it because of state and societal pressures. As far as a solemn vow between the two of us, been there and done that.
