Hollywood is driven to give us thrilling action films, frightening horror flicks, heart-wrenching drama pieces, and other serious fare. Unfortunately, someone fucks up and gives us something that, while it may have seemed good on paper, is bound to make the audience bust out laughing. Unintentionally hilarious scenes so ridiculous that if the films were shown as an episode of MST3K, these scenes would be shown again after the credits.
So, what's your favorite goofy-ass scene?

I can't find it on youtube but I say this drama movie about a guy who couldn't get laid. The scene was at a bar and he said hello to a chick and she kept walking. He then cried for ten straight minutes and went home and wrote a crappy story for readers digest.

Later in the movie he went back to the bar and told the girl "Its my constitutional right for you not to reject me!" Then he leaned in for the kiss and then she slapped him. He then went home and cried some more and wrote about it on a message board.

You know, come to think of it, there was that movie "Failure to Launch", about the guy who never moved out of his parents house. The producers had to cast Matthew McConaughey instead of rex, as starring in a movie would've constituted actual work.

Anyway, back to the topic at hand. There were many problems with Spider-Man 3, but by far the most egregious were the various dance segments. What better way to show the descent into corruption caused by the alien symbiote than by busting a move?

Most of the time it doesn't come off as intelligent. People know what the high falutin words mean. They just don't use them because it's unnecessary, and sounds rather stupid.

People who use big words tend to be people trying to prove to others that that are intelligent, and usually are trying to prove that they are more intelligent than the people they are talking to. Generally though, they tend to be less intelligent and just come across as poncy and stuck up.
Also, intelligence with regards to big words etc, is no use if its not backed up with a degree of common sense.
