Incubus - Monuments and Melodies (Melodies/Disc 2)
Disc 1 is nothing more than a collection of singles/hits. Useless to a guy that owns everything from "Enjoy Incubus" to the largely disappointing "Light Grenades." That said, a lot of the unreleased tracks on the "Melodies" disc are upsettingly similar to Light Grenades. If this is gonna be their new direction on the next album, may I never purchase another Incubus CD again.

No, more like an hour each of cardio and weight training. But I have a bad habit of just dumping a handful of MP3s and setting it to random. So. I'll go from something like Temperedcast to... say... Bob Dylan.

Okay. Little "lighter" than I expected. But it's got a kick-ass guitar riff and I dig the chorus. That said. I cautiously anticipate the release of "Sci-Fi Crimes"

Summer's officially here (No shit? The past MONTH has been 90-100+ degrees...) and my taste for music seems to shift with the seasons. As such, I've been enjoying a fair bit of thrash metal
grunge
and some alt rock/alt metal/funk.
And on the slow, quiet nights, even some southern rock (both new and old)
and 90's rock radio.
Black Stone Cherry hasn't been a household name for long (and barely is) but I likes it. Nothing will beat the days of Dirk Lance and Gavin when it comes to Incubus, but Boyd is a talented songwriter and, sad as it sounds, DJ Kilmore is irreplaceable. Nirvana=good. Always has been. Always will be. I wish I could play the guitar half as well as Kirk Hammett, and James Hetfield has an awesome voice. Lars Ulrich is, has been, and always will be.... a dick.
