Air - Remember

French band. Pretty good. Did soundtrack for Virgin Suicides. Very 70's (Pink Floyd comes to mind), at least that album.

I've had the Virgin Suicides album for some months and it's the best recent thing I've heard in a while. I just downloaded the other two albums (the first and the third), and the first is excellent, but the third one is too techno for my taste.

I pretty much only listen to music when I'm driving. The CDs that never leave my Highlander:

My mix of tracks from Cowboy Bebop
Stephen Lynch: Superhero
High Fidelity Soundtrack
AC/DC: Back In Black
Ben Harper: Live From Mars
Both Grosse Point Blank Soundtracks
Faith No More: The Real Thing
Run DMC: Greatest Hits

And I never seem to get sick of Dave Attell: Skanks For The Memories.

New York Tendaberry by Laura Nyro mainly because I can't be bothered to get up and change the CD.

I love her music but it's too early in the morning and I'm too tired and generally not in the right mood for it.

Rob Zombie Rocks!

I am listening to Jefferson Airplane's first album , Jefferson Airplane Takes off.

From 1966.

Still a Great album, 37 years later!

I just got Weird Al's latest CD, so I've been listening to that.
And the "Mighty Wind" soundtrack. Do you have it? Well, go get it. Put on track 14.

Did you just go "WTF" too? Yes, that is "Start Me Up" by the Rolling Stones, done in folk style. I almost died laughing when I heard it.

Lately, I've been listening to orchestral scores mostly. Lots of John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, and James Horner.

I did, however, get a hold of The Carl Stalling Project, an album of selected Looney Tunes scores. Interesting stuff, that.
