I've never read anything that had to with Marvel aside from Kingdom Come, so I have no real frame of reference with regards to relevance or lack thereof.

But I'm assuming that Mary Marvel used to be the exact opposite of what you described based on the fact that Marvel was marketed to kids.

In which case--and not to lump myself in with the apparent Marvel-tards 'cuz I honestly don't care--wouldn't such a dramatic paradigm switch mean that this individual is in fact not the once irrelevant character but rather a completely different one with Marvel's name and symbol attached?
