i dont look for a grimm n gritty take, or a kiddie take or whatever. i judge a story on whether it entertains me. i like some dark stories, i dislike others, i like some light stories , i hate others. i think it should be possible to do either take on captain marvel. i just havent seen it.
True dat. If I have a real beef with "grim and gritty vs kiddie" it's that I think it dilutes a brand for certain characters that could be used to attract new (younger) readers.
