It does seem pretty clear that there is much more of a classic tome going on.

The forest/oxygen plant was kind of a call back to that projector in Nightmare of Eden.

It was one of Tombo's. it begins where to space crafts become phased together.

I'm sure there is tons more callbacks homage or whatever you want to call it.

I am enjoying Matt Smith as the Doctor more than David Tennant.
