I think recasting Norton was a big mistake. It removes the whole sense of continuity they were building by having cameos between films. They also sent a clear message that they were sacrificing story and performance for a "team player" which will hurt the film. It'll be a hit sure but I think with moves like this and Thor/Captain America most likely continuing the trend set by Iron Man 2 (lack of real story to sell the overall Avengers idea) will turn people off. I just hope MisterJLA doesn't live to see it.
