Judging from the stickied threads in the Poli-forum, I'd say you have no problem with "pretty button power" as long as you're the one using it.

I disagree. I think you can have it exactly both ways. I think you can have light moderation in particular forums, and unbridled freedom in others. It doesn't have to be the extremes you seem to think it is...
