With the exception of the Yoko Ono background vocals, that's a great song...

Scott Walker - Sleepwalkers Woman

I wish I knew what this song was about. The epic and ambitious music Scott walker has made in the previous two decades is far removed from the songs he recorded as part of The Walker Brothers in the 1960s.

I remember when he last released an album in the mid 1990s all the reviews in the press were saying things like 'we're not sure if this is good or not - it's just really strange'. There's no way of referencing what he does. He's completely out there on his own.

Slither-Velvet Revolver.

the cd's pretty good. I'd expect more from the 3 members of Guns N Roses and the lead singer from Stone Temple Pilots than what this cd has to offer. Don't get me wrong, it has a couple good songs, but on most of the tracks it's too noisy. Hell, you can barely hear Weilands lyrics on Slither over the ear-bleeding guitar riffs, and that's their current single off the cd. when I sober up tomorrow maybe it'll be better.

Butterfly Boucher & David Bowie - Changes

I realize that if this song was exactly the same but I wasn't aware it's Bowie cover I'd despise it... but that's not the case, so what the fuck.

Isn't that the Cowboy Bebop theme?

Great song. I like "Go Go Cactus Man", the theme music for Andy (the cowboy/bounty hunter that becomes a samurai at the end...and, no, I didn't spoil anything). Hell, all the Cowboy Bebop music is good. That's why I bought the 4-disc boxed set from Japan. Gonna hafta listen to that today...

Until SOMEONE told me to download winamp because she was watching Monty Python on internet tv, I was listening to my cds, then I downloaded winamp and I've been listening to internet radio for the past week. The past few days It's been Persian music, but if I'm not listening to that, it's either an 80s station, or a Chrsitian rock station.

It's a rented tux ok? I'm not going comando in another man's fatigues.

Made a mix tonight for Mrs. G-man (G-woman?). It started with Liz Phair's "Extraordinary" and ended with Whiskeytown's "Factory Girl."

The complete playlist:
1. Extraordinary–Liz Phair
2. the Remedy-Jason Mraz
3. In a Big Country-Big Country
4. Mercy-Ben Arthur
5. My Dog and Me-John Hiatt
6. Walkman on the Street-Los Diablos
7. Caryatid Easy-Son Volt
8. Bright Lights-Matchbox 20
9. Sea of Love-Iggy Pop
10. Coupe DeVille-Del Fuegos
11. Get to This-Los Lobos
12. Mr. Sunshine-Lori McKenna
13. None But the Brave-Bruce Springsteen
14. I Don't Know-Uncle Kracker
15. Superman-Five for Fighting
16. Hold On-Gary U.S. Bonds
17. Couldn't Get it Right-Stockholm Syndrome
18. Time After Time-Willie Nelson
19. I Still Miss Someone-Roseanne Cash
20. Factory Girl-Whiskeytown

It actually flows better than you'd think.

So that's what I listened to
