Oh.... Heart.

You spelled it "Hart." (and then edited it, I see)

Of course, I know who Heart is.."Barricuda," "Magic Man," etc.

They were pretty good until they went "soft rock" in the 80s...and the one sister got really fat.

No problemo.

Hard to believe Heart is still cranking em out.

Of course, I'm playing Bob Dylan even as we speak.

Actually, as someone pointed out in a recent article, Dylan is usually pretty apolitical.

Besides, I'm listening to the MODERN Bob Dylan...the guy who sells out to be in a Victoria Secrets ad.

What could be more Republican than that?

Everyone is nuetral to me to begin with. Now you're higher than most people.

Have you ever listened to Toad The Wet Sprocket? A lot a Gin Blossoms fans love Toad just as much. Try their retrospective album to begin with. Also check out Glen Phillips (lead singer of Toad) solo album, Alubum. I have a feeling you would really like it.

Cancion del Mariachi - Deperado Soundtrack (Antonio Banderas with Los Lobos)

"They" is a great song! The Desperado soundtrack kicks ass!

Right now, "Rocket" by the Smashing Pumpkins just ended and Herbie Hancock's "Rock It" just started. Gotta love when weird coincidences like that happen.

I have some Toad already from various source on the IPod. Good stuff. I like their acoustic versions of Kiss's "Rock and Roll all Night"

I know all about the sequel. It's already out on DVD overseas. Every review and every chat room and everything I know about it says it's campy crap that doesn't hold a candle to the visceral beauty that was the original. Which basically means I won't buy the current version of it...I'll wait for the super-duper special edition like the one I bought of the original. Why, you ask? Because, in the end, I am a total movie geek.
