Realistically, this movie is like a Michael Moore film: It will be seen by people pre-disposed to agree with it, it will play better in areas where the population tends to share the political values of the filmmaker and it will probably make decent money by documentary standards because of the controversy.
Does anyone really expect a pro-Republican movie to do well in the liberal part of California?
