Harland Sanders had a variety of different jobs. In fact, among other things, he was a rail yard fireman, army private, farmhand. But, while working as a gas station operator in Corbin, Kentucky, Harland Sanders decided to open a restaurant in the front room of his gas station. While Harland Sanders may have been successful in the 10 years that
followed the opening of his restaurant (he was made a Colonel in 1936)
he didn't invent the "Original Recipe" until 1940. Of course, the pressure
