Gamespot's a sinking ship. Their traffic has gone so far down the tubes that they have to resort to generic pop-culture pieces and shitty top ten articles.
I still post on their boards every now again, but there's barely anyone there.
It's their own dam fault really for running it like a police state and chasing everyone off. That being said, they've relaxed the rules in response to everyone turning away. I'd be lying if I said I didn't find their policy 180--and their series of layoffs (see also: Petit and McShea layoffs)--immensely enjoyable.
