Even before any music starts it's obvious that this album is going to be a piece of unhinged brilliance - Conor Oberst hestitantly telling the story of plane that's about to crash land. A woman asks the passenger in the seat next to her where they are going and the man replies:
"WE'RE GOING TO A PARTY! IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY!! WE ALL LOVE YOU VERY VERY MUCH!!!"
