Basically I think Trump and Pence not being able to say people are better off than they were 4 years ago are arguing that it’s not their fault and Trump’s America is really Biden’s. Outside of the partisans who hate half their country it’s hard to imagine it being sellable. After almost a whole term in office this is what your going to get from Trump. A divider who can’t even denounce Putin poisoning his political opponents. That isn’t strength or values I recognize as being good for the country.
