The lying Newspeak at POLITICO, in absurdly inaccurate euphemism, spun it as "protestors confronted Rand Paul outside convention..." That's not even close to accurate.
"Confronted", indeed. And then some. One might even call it attempted lynching or assassination.
The fact that the mob turned from 30 to 60 to 120, very quickly, indicates it was a coordinated mob, with organized and rapid communication to make it happen.
Clearly, the radical and extremely well funded Black Lives Matter and Antifa groups had something special planned for after the last night of the Republican Convention. And they almost pulled it off, if not for the courageous and outnumbered police officers who intervened.
There were many others confronted as they left the convention at night's end. I'd like to see a complete list of the assaults and injuries. It wasn't just Senator Rand Paul and his wife who had to endure this treatment.
