The core fact is, the state overcharged these accused defendants, and they can't prosecute them successfully, and THAT is why they are being offered plea bargains to quietly end it, with as minimal embarassment as possible for the Democrat-Bolshevik prosecutors.
And Sidney Powell and Kenneth Chesebro are willing to take plea deals with minimal fines and no prison sentence, just so they can minimize their legal cost and end it, to get on with their lives.
